Jean Marie Bauhaus is a freelance content writer who has been writing in the pet health and lifestyle space since 2014. Her clients have included brands like Hill’s Pet, American Kennel Club, Chewy, and more. She also writes novels and is currently working on a romance series for dog lovers under a pen name. She lives, writes and homesteads in the Ozarks with her husband of 15 years and their dogs.

Christine Brovelli-O’Brien holds a Ph.D. in English and is a former educator. As a professional member of the Cat Writers’ Association, Christine uses her extensive writing experience to explore the fun and fascinating world of pet ownership. Her work has been honored by the CWA with Muse Medallions and Certificates of Excellence in Writing. Some of her favorite non-pet topics to explore include education, literature, lifestyle, and neuroscience. Over the years she’s cared for a ball python, leopard gecko, pot-bellied pigs, horses, cockatiels and countless other pets including cats and dogs. Before writing became her full-time career, Angela’s passion for pets led her to work in management for Petco where she expanded her knowledge of the world of pets. She grew up in rural West Virginia, which is where her passion for animals began, surrounded by family pets and abundant wildlife. She graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and following graduation completed an internship outside of Chicago.
