Jean Marie Bauhaus is a freelance content writer who has been writing in the pet health and lifestyle space since 2014. Her clients have included brands like Hill’s Pet, American Kennel Club, Chewy, and more. She also writes novels and is currently working on a romance series for dog lovers under a pen name. Over the years she’s cared for a ball python, leopard gecko, pot-bellied pigs, horses, cockatiels and countless other pets including cats and dogs. Before writing became her full-time career, Angela’s passion for pets led her to work in management for Petco where she expanded her knowledge of the world of pets. She grew up in rural West Virginia, which is where her passion for animals began, surrounded by family pets and abundant wildlife.
